AAC Conductor Leo 34.4mm2 Overview

The stranded All Aluminium Conductors (AAC) are made up of concentric-lay-stranded aluminum wires only.The conductor may be made up of 7, 19, 37, 61 or more wires in 1, 2, 3, 4 or more layers around a central wire. Each successive layer shall have six more wires than the layer immediately beneath. For a gien cross-sectional area, the conductor becomes more flexible as the number of wires is increased (with a corresponding decrease in size of each wire).

Full hard drawn temper wires are used with the wires stranded in each successive layer having an opposite direction of lay, the outermost layer being right-handed.

AAC Conductor Leo 34.4mm2 can be used in low and medium voltage overhead lines.It is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of aluminum 1350-H19 wires. It available in both single-layer and multi-layer constructions.

AAC Conductor Leo 34.4mm2 strands 7 aluminums. The individual wire diameter are all same 2.50mm. The overall diameter for AAC Conductor Leo 34.4mm2 is 7.5mm. The conductor cross section is 34.4mm2 . After the cabling, the total linear mass is 94.3 kg/km. Through the test, the calculated breaking load should be 5.7kN. At the 20℃, calculate D.C. resistance should be 0.833Ω/km.
