6.35/11kV Screened MV ABC Cable–Aerial Bundled Cables to AS/NZS 3599.1 (AL/XLPE /CWS/HDPE)

The 6.35/11kV Screened Medium Voltage Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) designed according to AS/NZS 3599.1 standards is used for overhead power distribution in Australia and New Zealand. It features aluminum conductors insulated with XLPE, screened for safety and performance, and protected by outer sheaths such as CWS (Cold Water Shrink) or HDPE for environmental resilience.

Screened MV ABC Cable Application:

Three XLPE insulated screened cores are bundled around the galvanized steel wires in a right hand lay.Primarily used for overhead service applications such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporary service for construction. To be used at votages of 600V phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75℃ for polyethylence insulated conductors or 90℃ for crossliked polyethylene(XLPE) insulated conductors
