This NFC 33-209 Aerial Bundle Conductor (ABC) Cable 3x25+54.6+2x16mm² is a low-voltage overhead power cable. It consists of three 25mm² stranded aluminum phase conductors, one 54.6mm² aluminum alloy messenger conductor, and two 16mm² aluminum public lighting conductors. All conductors are insulated with XLPE. This cable is manufactured to the National French Standard NFC 33-209.

This NFC 33-209 Aerial Bundle Conductor (ABC) Cable 3x25+54.6+2x16mm² is a low-voltage overhead power cable. It consists of three 25mm² stranded aluminum phase conductors, one 54.6mm² aluminum alloy messenger conductor, and two 16mm² aluminum public lighting conductors. All conductors are insulated with XLPE. This cable is manufactured to the National French Standard NFC 33-209.

Applications

This ABC cable is designed for power distribution in residential and rural areas. It's used to reduce the risk of bushfire hazards, and the XLPE insulation provides excellent UV resistance. The cable is designed for a maximum voltage of 600V (phase to phase) and a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C. The dedicated 16mm² conductors are for public lighting applications.

Construction Details

The construction of this 3+1+2 core ABC cable includes:

  1. Phase Conductor: Multistrand round compacted hard-drawn aluminum insulated with black, weather-resistant XLPE.
  2. Neutral Messenger: Multistrand round aluminum alloy conductor insulated with black, weather-resistant XLPE. This conductor also provides mechanical support.
  3. Public Lighting Conductor: Two multistrand round compacted hard-drawn aluminum conductors insulated with black, weather-resistant XLPE.
  4. Assembly: The insulated phase, neutral messenger, and public lighting conductors are stranded together with a right-hand lay.
