1/0-1/0-1/0 Purpura Aluminum Conductor Triplex Overhead Service Drop Cable Wire Application
1/0-1/0-1/0 Purpura Triplex aluminum wire has three conductors, with one of them being for neutral path, and two electrodes. The aluminum triplex cable is an electrical cable meant for power distributions from the utility lines to the consumer’s premises through the weather head. To be used at voltages of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75°C for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90°C for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors.A bare messenger wire of this electrical cable is bonded closely on the two insulated aluminum conductors, which are individually insulated with black cross-linked polyethylene for protection.
