Construction

The robust construction of the PVC Insulated Drop Service Wire DV ensures durability and consistent performance in outdoor aerial environments:

  • Conductor: Made from Hard-drawn copper wire for electrical use. This material provides excellent conductivity while offering the necessary tensile strength for aerial self-support. For specific sizes (e.g., 22㎟ to 60㎟), hard-drawn copper wire is exclusively used.
  • Insulation: Each conductor is insulated with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC/C). PVC insulation offers good electrical properties, mechanical protection, and resistance to environmental factors.
  • Inner Cord Differentiation: For multi-core versions, color coding is used to differentiate individual conductors:
    • 2 Core: Black, Green or Black, Blue
    • 3 Core: Black, Green, Blue
    • Parallel: Black (for flat configurations where conductors run side-by-side)
