XLPE 16mm² 3 Core Copper Cable, also known as CU/XLPE/PVC 0.6/1kV, is a high-performance power cable designed for reliable power transmission and distribution in both indoor and outdoor environments. With cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, this 3-core cable offers excellent thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties.
The cable is ideal for installation in urban power networks, industrial facilities, building wiring systems, and underground ducting. It is suitable for direct burial, conduit installation, or open-air use, especially where space is limited or environmental conditions are demanding.
Applications
Power distribution in commercial and industrial buildings
Underground and conduit installations
Indoor and outdoor fixed installations
Submains and final subcircuits in electrical networks
Wet, damp, or confined environments
Where flame retardancy, chemical resistance, and compact size are required
Standards
IEC 60228 – Conductors of insulated cables
IEC 60502-1 – Power cables with extruded insulation for rated voltages of 1kV (Um=1.2kV) and 3kV (Um=3.6kV)
Other standards available on request: BS 5467, AS/NZS 5000.1, etc.
