185mm² 3 Core Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) Cable is a heavy-duty low voltage (LV) power cable designed for distributing mains electricity in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure environments. It features stranded copper conductors, XLPE insulation, steel wire armouring, and a robust black PVC outer sheath, ensuring durability, safety, and high performance in both underground and surface-mounted installations.

This cable is especially suited for direct burial, thanks to the steel wire armour (SWA) which offers excellent mechanical protection against external impact, rodent damage, and environmental stress.

Fire Performance

  • Standard flame retardancy to IEC 60332-1-2

  • On request: Flame-retardant (IEC 60332-3-22 to -24), Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF), anti-termite, anti-rodent, oil-resistant, UV-resistant, and sunlight-stabilized sheaths available.
