Construction Details

XLPE 4 Cores Copper Cable Construction

The cable is constructed with the following components:

  1. Conductor: Plain annealed copper, Class 1 (solid conductor) or Class 2 (stranded conductor).
  2. Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
  3. Filler: Non-hygroscopic material to maintain circular shape and improve stability.
  4. Binder Tape: Non-hygroscopic wrapping for core assembly.
  5. Outer Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
