Key Specifications & Construction

Non Screened MV ABC Cable Construction

  • Voltage: Available in two ratings: 6.35/11kV and 12.7/22kV.
  • Conductor: Compact, stranded, hard-drawn aluminum (Class 2).
  • Conductor Screen: An extruded semi-conductive layer is applied over the conductor.
  • Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene).
  • Insulation Screen: An extruded semi-conductive layer covers the insulation.
  • Outer Sheath: HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene).
  • Support Conductor: AAAC/1120 (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor), providing mechanical support.
  • Assembly: Three XLPE-insulated cores are bundled around the AAAC/1120 support conductor in a right-hand lay.

Technical Data

  • Normal Operating Temperature: C.
  • Emergency Overload Temperature: C.
  • Short Circuit Temperature: C.
