SIP-4 Cable

The SIP-4 cable is a type of Self-supporting Insulated Overhead Wire used for low-voltage power distribution. Its name is an acronym for Self-supporting Insulated Polar wire, with "4" denoting its specific design type. A key feature of SIP-4 is that it does not have a separate messenger (load-bearing) wire; all the insulated conductors are self-supporting. The conductors are made of compacted aluminum and insulated with XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene).

Applications
