Compensation wires are suitable for electrical connections between various thermocouples with division numbers of S, R, K, E, T, J, and N, and temperature display instruments to improve temperature measurement accuracy.
Compensation wires are classified into extension type and compensation type. According to the tolerance of thermoelectric characteristics, compensation wires are divided into precision grade (symbol S) and ordinary grade (no symbol).
Product standards: Thermocouple compensation wires: GB/T4989-94; Thermocouple compensation cables: Q/320831SQL07-96
Product usage characteristics: Operating temperature: Heat-resistant grade: -65°C to +200°C and -65°C to +260°C; Ordinary grade: -40°C to +70°C and -40°C to +105°C; Minimum bending radius: For compensation wires, it should be no less than 8 times the outer diameter of the wire; For compensation cables, it should be no less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable when armored, and no less than 6 times the outer diameter when unarmored.
Category Introduction:
KX-FF: Fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed ordinary grade K-type thermocouple compensation wire
KX-FPF: Fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed copper wire braided shielded ordinary grade K-type thermocouple compensation wire
KX-FP1F: Fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed tinned copper wire braided shielded ordinary grade K-type thermocouple compensation wire
Notes:
Model Names:
KX-GA-VV: PVC insulated PVC sheathed precision grade K-type thermocouple compensation wire
KX-GA-VVR: PVC insulated PVC sheathed precision grade K-type thermocouple compensation flexible wire
KX-GA-VVP: PVC insulated PVC sheathed copper wire braided shielded precision grade K-type thermocouple compensation wire
Note: The above models only list KX. For others such as SC, KC, EX, BC, TX, JX, only the first part of the model number needs to be changed. Flame-retardant compensation wires have ZR added before the model number. ZR192 refers to imported PFA material. Shielding can use tinned copper wire shielding.
Other Specifications:
The external dimensions and calculated weight of compensation wires and compensation cables
Note: I. Cables with shielding or aluminum-plastic composite tape have slightly larger diameters than cables without shielding layers II. Cables with both individual shielding and overall shielding have slightly larger diameters than cables with only individual shielding III. Cables with only overall shielding have slightly smaller diameters than cables with only individual shielding
Common types of compensation cables are as follows:
