- Insulation: PVC + Nylon
- Colors: Red/Yellow/Blue/White/Black/Yellow-Green/Brown, etc.
IV. Features and Applications
- Easy conduit threading. The thin diameter of the wire significantly reduces friction during conduit threading.
- Increased wire capacity in conduits. The smaller wire diameter allows more wires or higher current-carrying capacity in conduits of the same size.
- Excellent abrasion resistance reduces insulation damage during conduit threading and installation. This is crucial for effectively reducing potential hidden short-circuit accidents.
- Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons and good chemical stability, i.e., excellent resistance to oil, liquefied gas, and gas corrosion, effectively improving the reliability and service life of the wiring wire (aging performance tests prove that BVN-type wires have at least double the service life of original PVC-type wires, i.e., 40 years or more).
- High safety performance. Tests show that BVN-type wires have good thermal stability and heat shrink resistance. This helps to avoid the possibility of overheating at grounding points, which can cause insulation shrinkage and expose copper wires, leading to short-circuit faults.
- Ability to withstand significant short-circuit currents, with a short-circuit withstand temperature higher than ordinary PVC-type wires for 5 seconds. This is due to the nylon sheath, which has a melting point of 215°C.
- Same flame-retardant performance as PVC insulation. According to expert tests, the toxicity released during combustion is much lower than that of PE.
- Manufacturer's name, product model, voltage rating, and other marks are printed between the PVC insulation and nylon sheath, with clear and durable markings.
